About NRASL
Celebrating over 30 years of Soccer!
Sportsmanship and self-esteem prepare children for the challenges of growing up. North Ridgeville Amateur Soccer League (NRASL) develops confidence and strength in our children through the competition and physical activity of team sports. NRASL was organized in 1977 with the mission to develop and operate a supervised soccer program and to instill in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, fair play, and honesty for the betterment of their physical and social well being. NRASL is affiliated with the Ohio Youth Soccer Association North, which is a part of the United States Youth Soccer Association. The NRASL is registered with the IRS as a not-for-profit 501-(c) (3) organization. NRASL’s structure consists of an all-volunteer Board of Directors and over 60 volunteer coaches and managers. These adults act as role models for the children of the NRASL. This involvement in the lives of children provides a positive influence that extends beyond the boundaries of the soccer fields. We offer two levels of play depending on abilities and desire, IN-HOUSE: for all players at a non-competitive level and TRAVEL: for players with the ability and desire to play at a competitive level against other local surrounding communities. In addition to providing an organized sport for the children of our community, this organization provides the opportunity for parents and families to interact in a positive manner. North Ridgeville Amateur Soccer League also provides adults with the opportunity to expand their potential through experiences such as coaching, and by developing interpersonal, organizational, administrative and leadership skills needed to run a volunteer organization such as ours. NRASL was founded in 1977 to coordinate youth soccer in North Ridgeville of Lorain County. Like soccer programs throughout the United States, NRASL experienced significant growth in the last few years, this Spring 2008; over 900 participants. In order to continue with our program we need sponsors to help fund the league to help with maintaining fields and supply the youth of our with uniforms, soccer goals and the other related equipment to maintain the league and help with the growth of the League. We hope you can consider helping our North Ridgeville Amateur Soccer League and the youth of North Ridgeville! Visit our Fundraising / Sponsorship page to learn more about becoming a sponsor. |
