NRASL In House Development Soccer Program

The In-House Development Program is committed to instructing children of all abilities in the sport of soccer in and around North Ridgeville. The primary goal of this program is to instill a love and knowledge of soccer. We strive to create a fun environment where our children have the opportunity to develop skills, learn sportsmanship and engage in friendly competition.

The In-House Development Program is for children of all skill levels beginning at age 4 (Pre-K) and continuing through middle school age. Teams are set up based on age. U5 and U6 ages are conducted in an "Academy" format and are coed.  The boys and girls are separated in the U7/U8 boys and U7/U8 girls academies.  This gender separation continues U9 thru U11. U12 thru U14 ages are typically coed.

TOTS Program (Typically 3 & 4 year old Players):

For our youngest players, typically between the ages of three and four, we have a 4-week TOTS Program each spring and fall! The director of our TOTS will lead our player-parent partners through a variety of skill development drills and games geared toward having fun and gaining confidence both socially and with the ball!

This program will run FOUR Saturdays in the spring and fall.

U5-U6 Development Academy:

At the next stage, our players begin training just a bit more in a team environment free from parents.  Players will be divided into teams and spend 6 weeks learning a great deal more about their body and the ball.  All trainings and games are led by professional soccer coaches from Force Soccer Academy and assisted by players from our NRHS Soccer Teams!  Parent volunteer coaches manage most of the team communication and are there to assist players through training and games as well to ensure a fun experience for all!

Trainings for this program are on Thursday evenings and games are on Saturday mornings.

U7-U8 Development Academy:

Our 6 and 7 year old's will have a very similar experience to that of the U5-U6 Academy except teams are typically divided by gender when numbers allow and the training curriculum is slightly more progressive to encourage more individual development and free thinking.  Players will also have the opportunity at this age to move into our Competitive programs, starting with our U8 Juniors Program (Details on the Competitive Page).

Trainings for this program are on Thursday evenings and games are on Saturday mornings.

Recreational Soccer AKA the In-House Development Program (8-15 Years Old):

This program is a noncompetitive environment for players between the ages of 8 and 15 years old who are looking to try out the game o soccer, play in a more easy going environment, have fun with friends, and get some healthy exercise!  Both fall and spring seasons are typically 6-8 weeks long, depending on practice and weather delays for games.  Players are divided into teams, will receive t-shirt jerseys, and will play a six game schedule.  They will have a minimum of one academy style practice per week on Thursdays.  Their volunteer parent coach may choose to add another practice that your child may choose to attend if they would like.
